Managing Workspace Policies

Workspace policies establish associations between users, roles, and workspaces, restricting users’ operation permissions within specific workspaces to achieve fine-grained permission control.

  1. Log in to the Neutree management interface, click Workspace Policies in the left sidebar, and click Create on the right page.

  2. Fill in the configuration information.

    Name The name of the workspace policy. No
    User The target user to assign permissions to. Yes
    Role The user's role within the workspace. Yes
    Policy Scope The scope of the workspace policy.
    • Global Policy applies to all workspaces, typically used for administrators or users who need cross-workspace operation permissions.
    • Workspace Policy applies only within the specified workspace.

    Workspace When the policy scope is Workspace Policy, specify the workspace to which this policy applies. Yes
  3. After confirming the configuration is correct, click Save to complete the creation.

Log in to the Neutree management interface, click Workspace Policies in the left sidebar, and the workspace policy list on the right will display information for all current workspace policies. Click on a workspace policy name to view details.

After creating a workspace policy, you can modify the user, role, policy scope, and workspace settings as needed.

  1. Log in to the Neutree management interface, click the menu icon on the workspace policy list or details page, and select Edit.

  2. Modify as needed on the configuration page. For parameter descriptions, refer to Create Workspace Policy.

  3. After confirming the configuration is correct, click Save to complete the edit.

  1. Log in to the Neutree management interface, click the menu icon on the workspace policy list or details page, and select Delete.

  2. In the pop-up dialog, confirm and click Delete. The workspace policy will be permanently deleted.
