Managing workspace policies
A workspace policy enforces fine-grained access control by establishing associations among users, roles, and workspaces, thereby restricting user operations within specific workspaces.
Creating a workspace policy
Section titled “Creating a workspace policy”-
Log in to the Neutree management interface, click Workspace Policies in the left menu, then click Create on the right.

Fill in the configuration.
Parameter Description Editable after creation Name The name of the workspace policy. No User The target user to assign permissions to. Yes Role The user’s role within the workspace. Yes Policy Scope The scope in which the workspace policy takes effect. Global applies to all workspaces, typically used for administrators or users who need cross-workspace operation permissions. Workspace applies only within the specified workspace. Yes Workspace The workspace to which the policy applies when Policy Scope is set to Workspace. Yes -
After confirming the configuration, click Save to complete creation.
Viewing workspace policies
Section titled “Viewing workspace policies”Log in to the Neutree management interface and click Workspace Policies in the left menu. The workspace policy list on the right shows information about all current workspace policies. Click a workspace policy name to view its details.
Editing a workspace policy
Section titled “Editing a workspace policy”After a workspace policy is created, you can modify the user, role, policy scope, and workspace configured in the policy as needed.
- Log in to the Neutree management interface, click the menu icon (…) in the workspace policy list or details page, and select Edit.
- Modify the configuration as needed. For parameter descriptions, see Creating a workspace policy.
- After confirming the configuration, click Save to complete editing.
Deleting workspace policies
Section titled “Deleting workspace policies”You can delete one or more workspace policies at a time.
- Log in to the Neutree management interface, click the menu icon (…) in the workspace policy list or details page, and select Delete; or select multiple workspace policies in the list and click Delete above the list.
- In the dialog that appears, confirm and click Delete. The selected workspace policies will be permanently deleted.
