Deployment requirements
Before deploying the Neutree management plane, ensure that the CPU architecture and operating system version of the servers, virtual machines, or Pods used to deploy the management plane meet the requirements in Compatibility notes in the Neutree Release Notes. Read this section to understand the resource requirements and network port requirements between components.
Resource requirements
Section titled “Resource requirements”The resources used by each Neutree component are shown in the table below. Ensure that your servers, virtual machines, or Pods meet the resource requirements:
| Component | CPU | Memory | Storage |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monitoring component | 4-core vCPU | 8 GiB | 400 GiB |
| Control plane | 4-core vCPU | 8 GiB | 200 GiB |
Network requirements
Section titled “Network requirements”To ensure Neutree operates properly, when the source accesses the target, the target must open the corresponding ports. Open the corresponding ports on the target based on the port descriptions below. All listed ports use TCP.
| Source | Target | Port | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| External client | Control plane | 3000 | Access the Neutree web management interface. |
| External client | Monitoring components | 3030 | Access the Grafana monitoring interface. |
| Control plane | Monitoring components | 8480 | Write monitoring metrics. |
